These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of services provided by Mango Microfinance Bank Limited ("Mango", "we", "our", or "us") through the Mango mobile application and related platforms.

By opening an account or using any Mango service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Eligibility

To use Mango services, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old (except where permitted products apply)
• Provide valid identification (BVN, NIN, and other required details)
• Complete required onboarding and verification processes
• Use the platform in compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Mango reserves the right to refuse or restrict access where eligibility requirements are not met.

3. Account Opening & Verification

• Accounts are opened digitally through the Mango app.
• A Tier 1 account may be created upon initial verification, with transaction limits applied.
• Additional verification may be required to upgrade account tiers.
• You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided is accurate and up to date.

Mango may suspend or restrict accounts where false or incomplete information is provided.

4. Account Usage & Limits

Your account may be subject to transaction and balance limits based on your verification level.

• Tier limits may apply to deposits, transfers, and account balances
• Exceeding limits may result in temporary restrictions (including Post-No-Debit status)
• You may be required to upgrade your account to restore full access

5. Payments & Transfers

Mango provides digital payment and transfer services.

• You are responsible for confirming recipient details before completing transactions

Mango is not liable for errors resulting from incorrect information provided by you.

6. Savings Products

Mango offers various savings products, including flexible, fixed, and goal-based savings.

• Interest rates are determined by Mango and may change based on market conditions
• Interest may accrue daily, periodically, or at maturity depending on the product
• Some savings products may require funds to be locked for a fixed period
• Early withdrawal may attract penalties or forfeiture of earned interest

Savings returns are not guaranteed and are subject to applicable terms.

7. Loans & Credit Facilities

Mango provides access to various loan products, including salary-backed, SME, and consumer loans.

By applying for a loan, you agree that:

• All information provided is accurate and verifiable
• Mango may conduct credit checks and risk assessments
• Loan approval is subject to eligibility and internal policies
• Repayment may be structured through direct debit or salary deduction

Failure to repay loans may result in:

• Additional charges or penalties
• Reporting to credit bureaus
• Recovery actions in line with applicable laws

8. Fees & Charges

• Applicable fees may include processing fees, service charges, and penalties
• All fees will be communicated before completion of transactions where applicable
• Mango reserves the right to revise fees with appropriate notice

9. Rewards & Incentives

Mango may offer rewards, cashback, or promotional incentives.

• Rewards are subject to eligibility conditions
• Rewards may not be withdrawable and may only be used within the Mango platform
• Mango reserves the right to modify or discontinue reward programs at any time

10. Security & User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials and PIN secure
• Not sharing access details with third parties
• Promptly reporting unauthorized transactions

Mango will not be liable for losses resulting from compromised credentials due to user negligence.

11. Data Protection & Privacy

• Mango collects and processes your data in accordance with applicable data protection laws
• Your information may be used for identity verification, service delivery, and risk assessment
• Data may be shared with regulators, credit bureaus, and authorized partners where required

12. Service Availability

• Mango aims to provide uninterrupted access to services
• However, services may be unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, or technical issues

Mango is not liable for losses arising from temporary service interruptions.

13. Account Suspension & Termination

Mango may suspend or terminate your account where:

• You breach these Terms
• Suspicious or fraudulent activity is detected
• Required verification is not completed

You may also close your account by contacting Mango support.

14. Limitation of Liability

Mango shall not be liable for:

• Indirect or consequential losses
• Losses resulting from user error or third-party systems
• Events beyond reasonable control (force majeure)

15. Amendments

Mango reserves the right to update these Terms at any time.
Updates will be communicated via the app or other official channels.

Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

16. Governing Law

• These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
